Family members,
Someone indicated that they thought Edna Thompson (Loren Sharp) had passed away. I just received an email from her daughter Susie and she confirmed that Edna is still alive. Susie said that Edna had several strokes this year but was still "hanging on".
On a separate note, I am close to posting a blog on the Maxey family, which Alvena Sharp was a Maxey. I have received a digital copy of the book "The Maxey's of Virginia" and I am trying to compile a shorter version with just our "line" included. I am also researching some of the information to verify as I have found a few discrepancies. Hopefully I will have the blog on the Maxey's up soon.
